My dear Trevor:
In answer to your letter of the 4th, I am sorry to say that it was impossible to sell the Chinnery, due to the death of the lady who had it under consideration with other pictures. We will ship the picture tomorrow by prepaid express, and hope it reaches you promptly and safely.
After my return from the West, I wrote you a note of best wishes upon your marriage, which I hope you received at your home.
I do not know when I am sailing, but Quest will be on his way to the eighteenth, and I hope he can get in to see you before he leaves.
With my very kindest wishes to you all, believe me,
Yours sincerely,

Clyfford Trevor, Esq.,
