Mr. Rene Seligmann
705 Fifth Avenue
New York, N. Y.

My dear Mr. Seligmann;

Sorry that our visit was interrupted the other day, but the caller was an important one.

What I wished to explain to you was the probability of selling to the Toledo Museum Of Art some Gothic glass for their windows in the Gothic hall. There are three windows in the and at the present time they have some Fourteenth Century glass in the center one and, as the outlook through these clear windows is very [[strikethrough]] lovely [[/strikethrough]] ugly, I know this is something they are very keen for. Mr. Trevor can doubtless give you a good idea of this.

Mr. Quest will be there on Wednesday at the Biltmore for a few days; he will see you and I shall post him on the matter, and I wish it would be possible for us to sell them some fine glass. I have no objection to your telling Mr. Stevens that I suggested you submit glass if you had anything that would be satisfactory. This seems like a chance and if not now it might be a little later.

With kind regards,

Yours Sincerely,

Chester H. Johnson
