Dear Germain:

Thank you for your letter of October 25th. My wife is very thankful for your kind thought.

For the present, I am not anxious to sell any of my paintings. In fact, I only have one more Vuillard, as I sold the others. I send you herewith a picture of same, but, very frankly, as long as I don't need the money, I am not going to sell it. It is all green and gold and is a very pretty one. The name of the picture is "CONFIDENCE".

I am very happy to hear the business is picking up with you. Here we are hoping for an increase of crude oil, but it seems to be extremely difficult to get because the Administration is against it. I am going to drill another well very shortly and I hope that it will be like the last one---- a good one.

With kindest regards from my wife and myself,

Yours very sincerely,
Edouard Jonas
