March 22nd, 1933.

I was wondering whether you would like to look at that marvellous [[marvelous]] portrait by GAINSBOROUGH which I showed you the other day, because it is undoubtedly one of the greatest examples of Gainsborough's work in this country.

If you thought Mr. Kelley would like to see it, I would be very pleased to send it up to your apartment on approval, but, on the other hand, I would prefer it if he could possibly come in here to see it, because we have several other very important English portraits which I would like to show you at the same time and which I am sure would interest you, particularly as we could now quote you very advantageous prices.

Trusting you do not mind my bothering you with this letter, and with my kind regards,

Believe me to be

Yours sincerely,

Mrs. Cornelius F. Kelley,
907 Fifth Avenue,
New York City.
