Sent you herewith is a photograph of Peale's portrait of Washington now hanging in the Art Gallery at Yale University, and to which I made reference in my previous communication to you.

The canvas is 95 by 61.

The picture is insured for $60,000., the amount thereof having been reduced from $85,000.

Yale University has an option to acquire the picture for $50,000. I would not sell it for less.
