RE:KP

April 6th, 1932.

Dear Miss Lamb:

This letter will serve to let you know that we are shipping this day the drawing entitled "Versailles", by de Segonazac, which I hope with reach you in good order.

You will notice upon receipt, that strips of paper have been pasted across the surface of the glass. This has been done in order to lessen the risk of breakage. If you will take a moist sponge, or a moist rag, and rub it over these strips allowing time for the moisture to sink through the papers, you will find that they will come off without any difficulty at all. May I caution you, however, to be careful not to allow any water to run to the edges of the glass, so that none can get inside the drawing.

I do not know exactly when I shall come to Boston, but it will be most probably in a few weeks - at which time I shall take advantage of your kind invitation to see some of your lovely things.

With my hearty thanks and anticipating the pleasure of seeing you, I remain

Very sincerely yours,

(Robert M. Levy)
