Dear Mr. Lynch-Staunton:

Herewith you will find the pamphlet referring to the

SAINT JEROME MARBLE SCULPTURE.

Inside is an extra photograph, as well as an additional copy of the description. I understand you need both for Customs purposes.

The marble itself is being forwarded to you on approval at the price of

$15,000.00
(Fifteen Thousand Dollars)

It will be airshipped within the next couple of days, addressed to you, in care of Messrs. Thompson, Ahern & Co., accompanied by four copies of the Canadian Customs Invoices.

I do hope that this lovely work of art will reach you shortly and safely. It is insured by my Firm, while in transit and in your custody. I would be greatly obliged to you for advising me of its delivery in good condition.

May I ask you to convey my respects to Mrs. Lynch-Staunton, and with personal regards,

Yours sincerely,

GERMAIN SELIGMAN
