January the 10th, 1925.

Mrs. E. Mayer,
5625 Woodland Avenue,
Chicago.

My dear Lucile :-

Your telephone seems to be always very busy. When I was in Chicago for one day, I tried to get you on the telephone twice, but your telephone was busy.

Germain tells me that when he was in in Chicago for two days, he was also unable to see you.

I am going to Chicago for a week, and hope I will have the pleasure of seeing you again.

I will have a very interesting Exhibition at the ART INSTITUTE, which has been arranged by my friend Mr. Chauncey McCormick, to run from the 15th. I hope I will see you there, if you are too busy to receive me at your house.

With best regards in which Germain joins,
Pray Believe me,

Yours very sincerely,
