Dear Mrs. McCormick:

I am sorry that business has not allowed me to go to Chicago this winter, but I hope to be able to visit your city a little bit later on.

In the meantime, I am taking the liberty of of giving this note of introduction to one of my associates, Mr. C. De Hauke. He has heard so often of your collection and is most anxious to have an opportunity of paying his respects to you while he is in Chicago.

Hoping that you will be able to receive him, and thanking you in advance, I am,

With best regards,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
