Your letter just received. 

My report of July sent minus money.

My collections for two months have been small. There is a sum of two hundred dollars ($200) out which can not be collected untill after cotton picking.

I expect I shall be compelled to close my school untill after that for I have not enough pupils left to pay my rent.
