He wrote to Lt Goodman requesting him particulary to report not I. And as I have already mentioned in my former statement if the Supt. had written to me I would have answered. I do not know what he means by those letters of inquiry that he speaks of. I have never seen nor heard of a letter of any kind from him since I came here. It is very strange if he has written as many letters as he says he has that I have never got any of them I get letters from Galveston every week the all come direct.
