Fowler & Wells of New York, or Ben Pitman, or R. P. Prosser of Cincinnati.
If the introduction of Phonetics is not admissible, I would like to get a priced list of books and school materials.
When teaching at Victoria, last year, I used "Goodrich's New First School Reader edited by Noble Butler, A. M." published at Louisville, Ky. by John P. Morton & Co.
I also used the National School Primer, or Primary Word Builder, by I. Madison Watson. At that time I like the book first described better than the other, and, if you have no objections, would like to use it here, But would much rather use the Phonetic System than any of them.
Very Respectfully,
