Mrs. Lucy Holmes of 290 Walnut street, quietly observed her 88th birthday Friday at her home, where friends and neighbors called with gifts of cards, flower and other tokens. Mrs. Holmes was the former Lucy Wentworth of this town, and wife of late Arthur L. Holmes.
