Aunt Fannies birthday & celebrate the two together over to her house which we agreed to. Aunt Fannie is a year older than I am & lives with Audrey Austin & she is very fond of her. of all the cards I received Doris home made one, was the most appreciated by me.

We are going to find out how Mrs Gilcher makes that coffee cake & make one like it she sent me one christmas [[Christmas]] & the other day a bag of cookies when they went up to her house to play cards. she has always been very good to me ever since she lived one accross [[across]] the way. I am glad our cold weather has turned to warmer. the thermometer was over 20° early & now the paper says warmer. guess we can stand it so. I am afraid you in your cold house fare much worse than we do, but it wont be much longer before spring comes to us both. I have tried to feed the little birds to day but they dont find where I put the crumbs. there are so many dogs around I put it up in the box out of reach of the dogs.

I am sending you our temperature dip which we have just had. we cut it out & meant to send it in my other letter but forgot to put it in. Stoughton was the coldest town of them all but we managed to keep from freezing up & felt lucky. well this is all. love Ma
