Freedmans Academy, Brazos River April 30th 1866

To: E. M. Wheelock Esq:

Dear Sir

I have the honor to lay before you my school report for April, not having any blank forms furnished for this month, I have drawn up this which I hope will prove satisfactory. I sent my last report to the Agency three times by Colored persons and they forgot to leave it every time we then had a very heavy rain which raised the Creek's to such a degree that I could not get to Millican, therefore I did not get to send it untill middle of this month.

I am Sir Very Respectfully
Your Obt Svt

H. B. Longley.
