E.M. Wheelock Esqr

Sir

I have the pleasure of favorably reporting this month, the increase of pupils and their progress.

Have lost one by death, another by sickness.

They take much pleasure in their studies, and are regular in their habits and attendance.

The progress is excelent. Children who six weeks ago did not know a letter are reading with ease and precision.

I thought it best not to touch arithmetics yet. But giving them a good start in reading, they will understand what is taught them much better

We have thought that a sabbath school fund would enable us to furnish the S.S. with books and papers necessary for the advancement of the pupils and with your approbation will share one.

Most respectfully
S.C. Harris
