Mrs Perry formerly taught a white school at this place. Her character is so bad I have not recognized her as a Bureau teacher.

All in any power to encourage pupils [apairenty?]- Hair covers remained with various aid [so actings?] Hair gotten pledged a Complete-set of [Wutctiell?] maps-I all books required for Columbus schools

13. Whole numbers of additional School-houses, for Freedmen, now wanted in your Sub-District? [?] -^

14. Could you organize your Sub-District into School District, each with a School Committee pledged to carry on schools therein? no

15. To what extent would help from without be needed in such cases? Almost anything-would hair to the [dens?] by outside aid

16. What is the public sentiment as to the education of the Freedmen and Poor Whites? Generally favorably as expressed.

17. Are Night-Schools for Adults needed in your District? yes In what way could they be carried on? Only by aid of the Bureau- leading wanted but could and he made self sustaining.

18. What more can this Bureau do for educating the children of Refugees (or Poor Whites)? Invoke the aid of Northern-societies to send leaders to the state-

19. How long will Northern charitable aid be needed for Freedman and Refugee Schools of your District? until the state provides for their education. [?] from other schools
