Belton Texas. June 29, 1868

Dear Bro Welch

Enclosed you will find a report for our school at this place. The meagerness of attendance may be accounted for, on account of the want of qualification upon the part of the teacher. The blacks were prejudiced against her, any way, I should not have employed her, but could do no better, Dr Rust of Cincinnati has never sent me any drafts yet for the money appropriated to this and [[Cameron?]].

Please send us a teacher as soon as you can.

This leaves myself and family well.

Your bro in Christ
T. B. Ferguson
