The reason the School has decreased so in the previous month, is on account of the laying by the present crops, very likely I will lose all of the Scholars that live out of town on farms, who are able to pick Cotton or pull Corn and those who have no Cotton or Cotton to pull themselves are hireing them to others; but as soon as the crops are laid by, I am pretty certain the School will reach the number of 200 Scholars.
