Your letter of Aug 10th duly rec'd and contents noted. The reports for June were forwarded at the proper time also a letter, explaining the condition of the schools in this Dist, asking advice &c  The mails are very irregular and are not much to be depended upon, and I suppose that the communication has been lost or miscarried. I also made request for blanks ie Form 4, & School reports but have never rec'd any since some time in Feb last  I am entirely out and as you mention the transmital of blanks in your letter I have delayed writing in hopes to get them. I submit the following report of the condition of the schools in this Sub Dist.

The school at Anderson I have not visited since the latter part of June. It then consisted of Thirteen day scholars taught by James Dobson. The scholars were making very good progress, though the teacher is 

over
