I have a dollar a month per schollar
The reason that I have no Night and Sunday school. The house and accomidations are altogether unfitten for such schools. The Freedmen are Indifferent about a school in this section. They do not turn out their children to school as they should. The principal obstacle in the way of a good school is the want of a house. The calculations is to build a good [[lay?]] school house, and I hope it will be done in a short time.

The progress of the school is very good concidering circumstances.
