2. No. of pupils in such Schools. The one 5 miles below Victoria has some 15 Scholars, and the one in town, the report is, has from 10 to 12 scholars.

3. Name of Teachers in such Schools, and whether white or colored. The one in town is taught by Mrs. Hillebrant and the other I do not know his name

4. How many Sabbath Schools, within your knowledge, not reporting to this Bureau? 0

5. Number of Teachers in such Sabbath Schools, and whether white or colored. 0

6. Number of pupils in Sabbath Schools. 0

7. Whole amount of Tuition paid you by Freedmen during the month. $45.00

8. Remarks.
The School is progressing very fast, although there are some few Scholars that will have to stop school to pick cotton.
But by the first day of January or February, I am satisfied that my school will number one hundred and Fifty scholars. ~

Sir. The school of Mr Brown is progressing well. Teacher is prompt and indefatigable in his labors. The great desidratum is a good house. I have asked for $500- to complete their house - and the school cannot be kept up without the aid asked for.
