1. Amount of tuition paid during the month.

2. Remarks.
The progress of my scholars for the term which ended 18th Dec 1868. was very encouraging. Many showed minds capable of receiving a thorough education, - Parents & Visiters was invited evening of 18th, to hear them examined. Among the latter was Lt Taylor Comdt of Pst. Who examined several classes & expressed surprise at their memories & advancement. he also delivered an appropriate address to both scholars & parents, giving much encouragement by explaining their educational interest &c. I am convinced, (Owing to strong prejudices existing between the Races) that it will be largely to their interest to chose & have educated children of their Race as Missionaries & teachers.-
Two or more of my scholars. who have shown superior Minds. I would recomend for that purpose.
