1. Amount of Tuition paid during the month, $25.00

2. Remarks:
The School is progressing admirably well, the Class
in Grammar is not progressing very fast; the Geography Classes are progressing rapidly, in Writing they are doing very well, in Arithmetic they are doing as well as could be expected, also in History . The School will not increase much more if any this session, being as the Examination is so near. In regard to the Night School, I am compelled to dispense with this Session on account of the peacon crop for every person that is able to pick up peacans is out, and when Night Comes They are so fatigued that they have no desire to go school for this reason and by the request of a great many I have suspended till next Session, which will begin the first Monday in January 1870.
My wife is now teaching middle work
