2. Remarks: The school has been organized now four weeks is prospering finely I think  All are anxious to learn; some are very impatient because they can not advance faster. The most of them make honerable attempts to pay their tuition promptly

I think time will remedy the serious hindrances that I have encountered thus far  I feel the necessity of assistance in the Sabbath School more than any work I have undertaken yet I hope a gentleman will be sent to my assistance after Christmas. No night school has been opened yet as my boarding house is to far from the school house to admit of my passing to and from after night when alone
