The Horran School is in a good state of discipline, the pupils advancing but are entirely destitude of means. And it is with the greatest difficulty that I can procure suitable books,
The School house is a miserable cabin devoid of any school conveniences, [[exceptriy?]] a few rough tables made by the freedmen for writing purposes.
