Dear Sir Will you be kind enough to hand this letter to some one who can give me a report of the Schools for Colored Children in Rutherford County. Where the School are located, the member of Scholars at each School, the name and Post Office address of the Teachers, Whether there are any night Schools where located, member of Scholars, name and Post Office address of the Teacher. Whether there are any Sunday Scholars, where located, number of Scholars of each School. name and Post Office address of the Teachers. Whether the Teachers are White or Colored, the School Housed owned by the freedman or rented, with any other information in regard to the Scholars for Colored Children which may be of interest.
