George Rheinhart, Colored, states that he gave you his Vouchers for mileage &c for himself, his wife Fanny Brown & daughter Amelia Brown, for attending a Military [[Camp?]] at Salisbury NC in a case of Rape upon his daughter Amelia Brown, He wishes to Know if you can collect the money for him and if you can not do so to return him the vouchers, care of this Office.

Hattie Fullwider (Colored) complains at this office that you owe her for labor of her son John Delner (under age) for work done in harvesting wheat last summer and that you have not paid for said work, and that when she went to you for payment for her sons work, you abused and threatened to strike her, I therefore request that you settle with Hattie Fullwider for her sons work, as appear at this office on Saturday the 9th inst, and show cause for not doing so.
