We had some fish cod cheeks fried baked potatoes, turnip fried bacon & cabbage chopped fine with salad dressing & pudding with lots of raisins in it.

I think the old cat should be put down cellar nights. he was always an awful thief. I never got attached to him. tiger cats are always that same way. My boquet of chrysanthemums are still lovely, they have not faded hardly any. they were sent me Thanksgiving day. & must have been very expensive. 

Saturday the Morgan Memorial came with their truck & took away our bag that had been waiting for them long before you came home, we were glad they arrived at last.

Its so cold to day I guess no one will come this afternoon to see us. Charleys folks usually come over Sundays. he does not intend to get married very soon. I believe, until summer time. what will become of Gladys? she ought to find a mate but guess she is too old maidish. plenty of old maids were around, now is her time, its an unnatural life to live for oneself alone.

Blanche Hammond spent Thursday afternoon with us & was here all throug that rainy afternoon & that night we had the terrible gale of wind. she went to her library around 5 O'Clock. I slept & knew nothing about the gale of wind but Mrs Barry was kept awake all night by it. Ma
