a good memory. The bundle you sent cam to day I have mended it and sewed on the two buttons that as you said were in the pocket. its a very heavy coat & will answer to slip on when we go out side & its snowy.

I dread snow it makes bad going the ground is free from snow though now. so far it goes off with rain. I got in my wood yesterday three baskets of it, before this storm came. it seemed so good to be out yesterday it was so pleasant. you could sit out in the sun and not be cold. I was here alone.

There was a man came here today to buy some of her things but she didn't sell him anything. they want to make all the profit. I wish she might sell her sideboard over in the barn. its too large for any ordinary house. the other man although a Jew, was honest & told her not to sell it less than $150. he thought of some one who would buy it for that & she may get it through him. she took down her cut glass bowl & the candle sticks down to Chicataubut meeting last Thursday the day she was chairman comittee & they created lots of excitement. they couldn't play cards for looking at so many beautiful things they said. now its getting too dark to see & will close

Love Ma
