Stoughton November 15th 1944

This is a cloudy November day. its fixing for a rain tomorrow, I have been sewing up in the front chamber where the light is good & the room is warmer so I keep it shut up & the sun stays in there all the forenoon, so that makes it comfortable all day.   Mrs Barry has gone down to fix the things for tomorrow. it is Chitataubut meeting tomorrow & she is doing all the work on her committe they shirk. their supposed to take their turn each one do their bit she is. willing to do & so then the rest let her. but she vows this is the last time she is going to do the work she will resign as she has done it for ten years and is through & now let some one else do it.

I think its comical the way Rachie voted I had to laugh. Joe Capens wife was talking over the telephone to Mrs Barry yesterday it seems
