Dear Doris

This is a beautiful day. temperature 70° on the porch & sunny. it was a nice moon we had early in the evening. but clouded in & rained a little. so this morning it was foggy & not very cold & then when the sun came up later it grew warmer.I have washed my nightie & dress & have just ironed them. She has just gone down to make bandages with Edith & pay some Electric light & telephone bills & for recreation I am writing my letter to you. Our heat went on in the night but not for very long as it was continually growing warmer out side [[outside]] all night. I was glad to hear it rain as the boys were ringing door bells & having their fun out side [[outside]]. we knew enough to hook our screen door early in the evening so it would put a stop to their ringing our front door bell. they tried to open the screen door & then tried the other door but found no use. then guess the rain coming so early. put a stop to any more fun on their part. I went to bed early as usual & it didn't take me long to get to sleep. the days are pretty tiresome guess I must be getting old
