Dear Doris

We are having nice pleasant weather now & not so cold 80° yesterday on the porch but a little cooler day this morning. I am writing this early so the Postman can take it this morning

There was two heavy boxes that came for Sidney yesterday by parcel post. Labeled "Edwards Brothers from Ann Arbor Michigan to Dr Sidney F Blake". they are too heavy for any one to lift. what do you want done with them? shall I send them along or keep them here? they are in the hall where he left them at present

I am sewing on those pajamas for Doris I got all but the sleeves out of the blue striped flannel, those I made of white with blue wrist bands, by piecening some. shall probably finish them this week on the machine.

I hope your cold is a little better & you have pleasant weather as we have here. it seems good to go out & not be cold my tomatoes are all picked & are ripening in the house. the vines look wilted since touched with the frost Monday night which reached the highlands.
