morning Eleanors husband sent the money for her to come directly there, as she was very much needed. Eleanor had another girl baby. they were much disappointed they wanted a boy, so Alice said hope she gets good care from her grandma. 
   
We are going to have a fish chowder for our dinner the potatoes & onions & fish are all cooked ready to put together when she gets home from church.

Laura is still sick in the Boston Baker Memorial hospital. she was coming home in the middle of the week but had a feverish chill and they though she better stay on a little while longer. hope she gets over it soon, as Bill misses her very much, & so do her other folks.

Bertha Longdon is sick & so Mrs Barry and some more of the choir members are going down to see her this afternoon & give her a bunch of pinks.

Little Rodgers said to Mrs Barry this morning "how did Mrs Holmes like that birth day cake my mother made"? very much she thought it was lovely. well it was he said. I havnt tasted it yet but probably shall later on. it was a beautiful thing indeed it was. so now I am going to eat dinner love Ma
