Norma Holmes has come back to live in Stoughton since her husband was called into the service she has lived at North Easton with her three children Mrs Barry is happy to have her sing again in the choir can read music & is a good singer. there were only 14 in the church & 12 in the choir most of them go to early morning service & then have the rest of the day to do as they mind to.

Laura plays in church over in Brockton Sundays & gets $14. a Sunday & has $1.50 for pupils to teach them playing the Piano about half a dozen in all, so she has money coming in ga lore no wonder she is afraid to stay alone way up there in the woods nights. while Bill is playing nights in the Symphoney there expenses are many but lots of money coming in. 

Lots of planes are going over head they make a great deal of noise. one just went over now. guess you hear them down there more I am going to close now & hope you get the letter before the holiday. but am afraid you wont. love Ma 

I am sending this letter into Boston by Mrs Barry she has got to go in today.
