Harold I. Pratt, Esq.,
58 East 68th street
New York

Dear Sir,-

For quite a number of years, I have heard of the great interest you take in pictures and works of art, and I always hoped that an opportunity would arise for me to make your acquaintance.

I would like to take advantage of this visit to America to at least meet you and visit your collection.

I will take the liberty to call you up in the near future, and ask when it might be convenient for you to have me call.

You have certainly heard of our firm in connection with the building up of the greatest American collections and with purchases by the important Museums of this country.

Looking forward to meeting you soon, pray believe me,

Yours sincerely,

(Germain Seligmann)
