My dear Mr. Seligmann:
 
I have your letter asking Mrs. Pratt for interview and I am sorry to say that I think she will be unable to see you as she is now at Lake Placid with her son who was taken suddenly ill there while playing hockey and as I understand it. she expects to be with him for the rest of the month.
  
However, I am forwarding your letter on to Mrs. Pratt, and if she should come back before you sail I am sure that she will wish to see you.
