off giving free access to the interior. Descending I made a careful examination of the interior. The interior walls are laid up of small flat stones & make a smooth face- The floor is cemented. In the floor are several inches of hardened earth in which are numerous fragments of broken pottery & human bones. This is in the main chamber. The two smaller chambers [[strikethrough]] were finished [[/strikethrough]] & passageways were finished in the same way but no trace of pottery or  bones were found. This burial vault is about 4-5 inches high & is roofed with broad flat stones overlapping one another. The [[strikethrough]] following [[/strikethrough]] sketch on opposite page gives shape & dimensions of this vault. ( Leave room for above sketch.)
