Mr. E. E. Kern,
c/o Colonel H.H. Rogers
Southampton, L.I.

Dear Sir, -
We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 3rd inst., requesting us to forward to Colonel H.H. Rogers, in Tuxedo, the four paintings, one clock and one statuette, which we received recently for delivery to him.

As per our conversation over the telephone of this morning, we note that you will send your own truck to call for them, and will accordingly hold these objects until then. We shall be obliged if you will kindly give to your men a delivery order for these objects.

Very truly yours,
