Dear Mr. Rogers:

I completely forgot the other day, when I said "good-bye" to you, to mention our beautiful Fragonard Exhibition.

The exhibition, which we successfully compiled with a great deal of difficulty, will be inaugurated on May 9th by the President of the French Republic and will last for one month.

Among numerous loans from the great French private collections and museums, we have also obtained the famous set of Fragonard drawings from the Albertina Museum in Vienna, as well as samples from the Fogg Art Museum in Cambridge, etc.

Inasmuch as you most likely will be in Paris during this period, I trust you will give me the pleasure of your visit. which I believe will be well worth your while.

I would ever so much appreciate it if you would kindly tell your friends who are going abroad this Spring about this exhibition, and I shall be delighted to personally take care of any of them upon their call.

Once more my best wishes, and a very pleasant journey across. With kindest regards,

Most sincerely,

(Rolf H. Waegen)
