Dear Miss Goldenring:

May I first tell you how much Mr. Germain Seligman appreciated your kindness in letting us have the negative of Mrs. Rogers' Van Gogh.

On the other hand as you gave it to me on the condition that it would be returned to us by Monday or Tuesday at the latest I took it myself to your office yesterday the 5th.

However, finding no one in I dropped it in your mail chute and want to be sure that you duly received it.

With renewed thanks for your courtesy,

Yours very sincerely,

E. B. Secy to Mr. G.S.
