Esther Rolick to Exhibit Art on Italy at Woodside

Esther G. Rolick who will have an exhibit on Italy and other works at the Woodside Gallery, 485 East Ave., from January 16 to 31, was born in Rochester of Russian-Polish parents. Upon graduation from the Washington High School in this city, she studied in New York at the Art Students League with sculptors Ossip J. Zadkine, William Zorack and graphic artists Will Barnet and Harry Steinberg. She has been a recipient of scholarships in both painting and sculpture. She had had the privilege of painting at "Yaddo" in Saratoga Springs, N. Y. and also at the E. McDowell Colony in Peterboro, N. H.

Miss Rolick is an insatiable traveler and a nature enthusiast. She has spent much time at the Cape and thru other sections of New England, Georgia, Tennessee, Colorado and the West as well as Europe. Her work has been on view in many group shows throughout the country and is represented in the permanent collection of the Los Angeles Museum and in many important private collections in U.S., South America and abroad in both painting and sculpture, as well as in drawing.
