defendant had not done so, the plaintiff would have been forced to establish the value of these paintings herself and, needless to say, this would have been a tedious and long drawn out affair. 

WHEREFORE, I respectfully state to this Court that the sum of $4,796.67 is all the plaintiff is entitled to and pray that this Court dismiss the plaintiff's motion for summary judgment.
