February 7th., 1949.

Dear Miss Williams:

This morning I received and opened the envelope containing your form letter of the 4th., directed to me on behalf of Esther G. Rolick.

However, as our representation of the artist was terminated a week or so after we sent the photographs of her work, we are complying with her request regarding mail, and forwarding it to her in care of her attorney. We have reason to believe Miss Rolick is back in the States and at present in Rochester, so in all probability she will communicate with you shortly.

It has been a pleasure to have this brief contact with you, and it is in our hope that in the future you will extend the same possibility of a stay in Europe to some other young artist sponsored by this gallery.

Yours most sincerely,

Mrs. T. D. Parker
Contemporary American Department.
