II Second: Said building to be enclosed with dressed weather boarding, substantially nailed, showing (5 1/2) five and one half inches to the weather, terminating with a box cornice of proportionate size, said cornice to extend a crop the end of the building
III Third: The roof of said building to be well sheeted to receive the shingles. The shingles to show (5 1/2) five and one half inches to the weather, substantially nailed, and put on in a worksmanlike manner.
IV Fourth: Floor to be nailed down with undraped surface, insides, end and overhead to be ceiled with undraped ceiling. Substantially nailed
V Fifth: That the said George W Benchley shall complete said building by the (31st) thirty first day of October, A.D., 1867.
VI Sixth: That the said George W. Benchley shall receive for said building the sum of (692) six hundred and ninety two dollars, U.S. Currency, by vouchers for that amount to be certified by the said James P. Butler or his successors in office, payable by the disbursing office, Bureau, R.F. & A.L. State of Texas.
VII Seventh: That no member of Congress, nor any officer or agent of the United States, shall be admitted to any interest or share in this contract, or the result to arise therefrom-
