Articles of Agreement

Entered into this 20" day of the Month of February A.D. 1868 between Captain Fred. W. Bailey 35" Inf. Sub Asst Com. B.R F & A.L. and his successors in Office of the one part, for and on behalf of the United States of America and W Westhoff & Co of the other part for and on behalf of himself his heirs, executors administrators &. Assign's. 

Witnesseth. That the said Captain Fred. W. Bailey 35 Inf. Sub. Asst. Com. B.R.F. & A.L. for and on behalf of the United States of America, as said and the said W. Westhoff
& Co for himself, his heirs, executors, administrators
and assigns, as said have mutually agreed and do by these Presents mutually covenant and agree to and with each other as follows.

First That he said W Westhoff & Co furnish the necessary Lumber, Nails. Doors and windows for the erection of a School House for the use of the Colored population of Indianola Calhoun County, Texas.

Second
That the said W. Westhoff & Co shall receive for said Articles the Sum of (439.34/100) Four Hundred and Thirty
Nine Dollars & 34 cts for which a certified Acct payable by the D.O. Bu. R F. & A.L
