Window Sash, to be, of best quality of pine lumber,

Doors, to be painted. One Double and Four Single, as in plan. To be of first, quality of pine.

Roof, to be 1/4 pitch, covered with first quality cedar shingles.

Platform, to be Five feet by Seven feet, of best pine lumber, as in plan. to be raised Fifteen inches with two steps.

Steps front and rear, as in plan.

Wood work to be painted with three coats, of paint, of light lead color.

And it is further, agreed that the work shall be performed in, a good workmanlike manner, and shall be subject, at any time to the inspection of the party, of the first part, and should any objection be made either to the material, or manner, of, construction then, a Board of Three United States Officers shall be convened to decide whether the work, or materials, are in accordance with the conditions of the Contract, their decision to be final.

That the said C.F. Hillett shall complete the said School House, on, or before the 15th of October 1868.

That the said C.F. Hillett shall receive for said School House when completed the sum, of Three Thousand One Hundred ($3,100) Dollars in Vouchers for that amount to be certified by the said C.S. Roberts Brv't Capt. U.S.V. & V.R.C. and D.O. Bureau R.F. and A.L. State of Texas, or his successors in office, to be paid by the Disbursing Officer. Bureau R.F. and A.L. State of Texas.

That no Member of Congress nor any Officer, or Agent of the United States, shall be admitted to any interest, or share in this Contract, or the results to arise therefrom.
