Article of Agreement

Entered into this 31st day of the month of October, A.D. 1868, between C.S. Roberts. Bv't Capt. U.S.A. A.A.Q M. and D.O. Bureau R.F and A.L. State of Texas. and his successors in office, of the first part, for and on behalf of the United State of America, and C.F. Millett of the other part, for and on behalf of himself, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns.

Witnesseth: That the said C.S. Roberts, Brv't Capt. U.S.A. A.A.Q M. and D.O. for and on behalf of the United States of America as said, and the said C.F. Millett for himself, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns as said, have mutually agreed, and by these Presents, mutually covenant and agree to, and with each other as follows.

First That the said C.F. Millett agrees to manufacture in accordance with the following Specifications for the School House at Austin Texas, constructed per Contract dated September 9" 1868, between the above parties.

42 - Forty two desks and seats, stained and varnished. 
1 - One platform 5 x 7.
5 - Five seats 8 1/2 feet long - with backs.
4 - Four Blackbards 3 x 6.
13 - Thirteen prs. of Blinds for windows, with hooks.
2 - Two double privies, with Lock and Key.
1 - One transom for front door.

And it is further agreed that the work shall be performed in a good workmanlike manner, and the material to be of the first quality.
