That the said C.F. Millett shall receive for said work when completed, the sum of Eight Hundred and forty-five ($845) dollars in Vouchers for that amount, to be certified by the said Bv't Capt. C.S. Roberts, A.A.Q.M. and D.O. Bureau R.F. and A.L. State of Texas, or his successors in Office, to be paid by the Disbursing Officer, Bureau R.F. and A.L. State of Texas. That no member of Congress nor any Officer, or Agent of the United States shall be admitted to any interest ,or share in this Contract, or the results to arise therefrom. In witness whereof, the said parties do herewith set their hand and Seal at Austin, Travis County, Texas, this 31st day of October, A.D. 1868 (Executed in Quadruplicate.) C.S.
