Specifications of School House 
To be erected at Hallettsville Texas

The Building to be erected of good quality pine lumber 25 x 40 inside measurement, to be one story in height: the room to be 12 feet in the clear between the floor and ceiling 

Building to be firmly fixed on blocks 24 inches from the surface of the ground

Sills 6 x 8 in to be of good sound pine or post oak, [[stefens?]] 2 x 10 in of similar lumber to 
rest on a center sill running the length of 
or hewn lumber is intended and of what kind 
  Plank- of good pine 2 x 6 in.

       
 The house to be built in Box or California 
Style of 1 in pine lumber not dressed and haltered with 3 in strips of same kind. 

Strips 2 x 4 in  entirely round the building  6 ft from floor 
Floor 1 1/4 in undressed plank,touqued and grooved pine 
, 1 Single door 4 planks 3 x 7 ft with 4 in carving, inside lock with 2 keys
  8 windows 3 on each side and 2 in the far and with 12 lights each 124189 lan 4 in [?]
Floor 8 windows 3 on each side and 2 in the far end with 12 lights each 12 x 18 glass 4 in [[eaving?]]
1 Flue 8 inch to be built from the ground and extend 4 just above the eaves
